Our Threaded Plug Line stop Fittings are designed for main relocations, lateral connections, line extensions, equipment tie-ins, Pipeline Hot Tapping, and line stop operations. They are also used for purge equalization operations. The flat bottom Threaded Plug Line stop Fittings include a threaded internal plug, an O-ring, a threaded external cap, and a flat bottom nipple. They are available in sizes 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, 2”, 3” and in Class 150, 300.

According to the size of the main pipeline, the THREADED FITTING needs additional reinforcement like a: Weldolet or Pad. The reinforcement is according to the client’s specifications. If the THREADED FITTING is the same size as the main pipeline (size-on-size), the THREADED FITTING needs a full encirclement reinforcement. If no reinforcement is needed, TECPESA also manufactures this fitting with a scarfed or flat bottom ending.The HOT-TAP FITTINGS are full-branch split tees designed for equipment tie-ins, lateral connections, and line extensions with permanent full-bore valves. The HOT-TAP FITTINGS are equipped with a welding neck flange RF according to ANSI Class 150, 300, 600, or 900. All fittings are available in compliance with applicable codes, including ASME B31.3 and DOT.

They are available up to 48”. Larger sizes and pressure ratings are available on request. They are designed to be used with the TECPESA Hot Tapping equipment TBL-182TH, TBL-242TH, TBL-302TH, TBL- 0322, TBL-0644, and TBL-1106 or with other Pipeline Hot Tapping Equipment with flange connection.

According to the size of the main pipeline and the client’s specifications, the Hot Tap Fittings can be manufactured with a different reinforcement like a Weld-o-let or Pad. The fitting needs full encirclement reinforcement if the HOT-TAP FITTING is the same size as the main pipeline (size-on-size). If there is no required reinforcement, TECPESA manufactures this fitting with a scarfed or flat bottom ending.
